In Jammu and Kashmir, 300 km long Sringar – Jammu National Highway has been closed for the traffic following fresh snowfall. The higher reaches of the valley received a substantial snowfall during last 24 hours and Srinagar and adjoining areas also experienced rain and mild snow. Hundreds of vehicles are stranded on the highway on both sides of the Jawahar tunnel.<br/>
