Srilankan Air Force appoints probe into MI-24 helicopter crash

In Srilanka, Air Force has appointed a probe panel to enquire in to the reasons for the yesterday’s MI-24 fighter helicopter crash in which two pilots and two airmen on board were killed.<br/><br/>A MI-24 Fighter Helicopter of the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) engaged on a training mission crashed last afternoon 5 KM north of Buttala at approximately 1330 HRS due to technical failure.<br/>
