Government has constituted a five-member expert committee on Telangana issue. The committee will be headed by former Supreme Court Judge B N Srikrishna.<br/><br/>This was disclosed by Home Secretary G K Pillai in New Delhi yesterday. The other members of the Committee are Prof Ranbir Singh, Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Delhi, Dr Abusaleh Shariff, Senior Research Fellow, International Food Policy Research Institute, Delhi, Dr Ravinder Kaur, Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Delhi, Vinod K Duggal, former Home Secretary, will be its Member Secretary. Our correspondent reports that the terms of reference for the committee will be drafted after consultations with the Chairman of the Committee.<br/><br/>AIR Hyderabad correspondent reports that the move has evoked mixed response from major political parties in Andhra Pradesh.
