Justice Srikrishna has said the committee, set up to study the situation in Andhra Pradesh in the wake of the agitations over statehood issue, would take common man’s view into consideration to a maximum extent possible.<br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad during his maiden visit to the state, the Chairman of Srikrishna committee said the committee would study the common man’s views over the situation with utmost care. In this respect, each and every memorandum sent to the committee would be analyzed.<br/><br/>Stating that the committee would listen to even the divided opinion of political parties, the Chairman said the committee’s mandate was to understand the ground situation in the state and summarize the public opinion to the Central Government enabling it to take a decision over the statehood issue. He said the committee would meet all the social groups in the state from the district level to state level to reflect their opinions. Responding to a question, he said committing suicides would not get desired results and asked the students to present their views before the committee.<br/><br/>The committee is planning to obtain information related to administrative aspects from the Government during its two-day visit to Hyderabad. Besides state Governor, the members will meet the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary of the Government.<br/>
