In Andhra Pradesh, Sri Satya Saibaba, who was admitted to hospital following lung congestion, continues to be on ventilator support in Ananthapur district. The Director of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences said, in a release that he is showing improvement. He is still on assisted ventilation and on kidney support through Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy-CRRT, which is a process of slow dialysis. He added that all other clinical parameters are nearly normal. 85-year-old Satya Saibaba was admitted to the super-speciality hospital at Prashantigram at Puttaparti near Ananthpur on 28th of last month following respiration-related problems.
