Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena has said that his blessing is needed to form a new government under the constitution although the opposition is dreaming to capture power to form a government. <br/><br/>Addressing a inauguration function near capital Colombo yesterday, the President said when the current government is forwarding its activities by removing all barriers, some empty vociferous people are trying to make disturbances. His comments came as opposition MPs led by former President Mahinda Rajapakse has said they will make a comeback within this year. <br/><br/>An opposition MP as well as a former minister said the power of the government and the Presidency will be over after winning the support of 113 members in the parliament. President Sirisena said some people raise these useless voices as they cannot bear the program of the current government carried out through protecting of the freedom and the democracy in the country. <br/><br/>Political analysts believe the former President is gaining in popularity as the current government has failed to deliver on its key promises made during 2015 elections.
