Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena today vowed not to let any foreign entity to try nation's war heroes who fought against terrorism. Addressing the 66th anniversary celebrations of his party in Colombo this afternoon, the President said he will not allow anyone in the world to touch General Jagath Jayasuriya or any other Sri Lankan war hero.<br/><br/>He asserted that an NGO linked to erstwhile LTTE has brought charges against General Jayasurya but he will not dance to the tunes of NGOs. A human rights group this week filed two cases against the General, who until recently was Sri Lanka's ambassador in several South American countries. <br/><br/>The group alleged that Jayasuriya oversaw torture camps and was responsible for hundreds of disappearances and extrajudicial killings in the final stages of the conflict when he was army commander in the north. <br/>
