United National party (UNP) led by former Prime minister Ranil Wickresmsinghe, United People's party led by former minister Sajith Premadasa and National People's party have decided to boycott the meeting.
''
''UNP, which had earlier agreed to attend the meeting, said no meaningful dialogue can be held in this type of meeting where the invitation has been extended to all former MPs and other active political leaders, including those from previous Parliaments.
''
''Parliamentary elections got delayed in the country due to COVID crisis and new date is fixed for 20th of next month.
