The Sri Lankan Navy today arrested 13 Indian fishermen for allegedly fishing in their territorial waters off Katchatheevu islet. They also damaged a few boats and fishing equipment. <br/><br/><br/>The Fisheries Department at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu said, over 2,000 fishermen from Thangachimadam had ventured into the sea in 523 boats yesterday when the Lankan Navy arrested 13 of them near Katchatheevu. The arrested fishermen have been taken to Kankesanthurai port.
