Sri Lankan courts order release of all 16 Indian fishermen

The Sri Lankan courts today ordered the release of all 16 Indian fishermen in custody on the advise of Attorney General's office.<br/><br/>A magistrate's court in Point Pedro in Sri Lanka released 9 Indian fishermen when they were produced in the morning.<br/><br/>A short while ago, the remaining 7 fishermen were freed by Kytes Island court in Jaffna.<br/><br/>The fishermen are likely to be repatriated home on Tuesday.<br/>Sri Lankan government had announced the release of all Tamil Nadu fishermen in its custody on Sunday on the eve of visit of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to New Delhi as a goodwill gesture.
