The Sri Lankan Cabinet meets in Kilinochchi today at the security forces headquarters. This is for the first time that a cabinet meeting is being held in the Northern Province. President Mahinda Rajapakse will preside over the meeting. The Sri Lankan Government has decided to hold cabinet meetings outside the capital Colombo in future. After the meeting, President Rajapakse will review the development activities carried out in the district since the end of the war against the LTTE. Mahinda Rajapakse will address a public rally at Iranamadu in the afternoon.
