Sri Lanka were 312 for 2 at the close of the first day of the second cricket test match against India in Colombo today. Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara on 130 and Mahela Jayawardene with 13 were at the crease. Tharanga Paranavitana also scored a brilliant century. He was out for 100 runs while Tilakaratne Dilshan got out after making a quickfire 54. For India, Ishant Sharma and Pragyan Ojha claimed one wicket each. Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. India made two changes in their side and included debutant Suresh Raina and Murli Vijay in place of unwell Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir.
