In Sri Lanka, an election monitoring organization has said violence and conflict in the country are at a low level compared to the last presidential election but misuse of power and state properties is observed. People's Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) executive director Rohana Hettiarachchi said there is a reduction in election violence this time and 14 incidents have been reported so far.
