Sri Lankan Government has decided for release of 113 Indian fishermen arrested in recent months on charges of fishing in its territorial waters. <br/><br/>Three of the fishermen were released today and repatriated back urgently due to death of a close relative. The rest of them are likely to be released from prison on Monday and will be repatriated back after couple of days. <br/><br/>There are a total of 140 fishermen presently in Sri Lankan custody. Earlier, Sri Lankan government had released 89 fishermen from in the last week of December. <br/><br/>Sri Lankan government releases Indian fishermen from time to time on humanitarian grounds but fishing boats are detained for a longer period.
