Sri Lanka set a target of 297 for Pakistan in the Asia Cup match at Fatullah, Dhaka

Sri Lanka has set a victory target of 297 for Pakistan in the opening match of the 12th Asia cup cricket tournament which began in Fatullah, Dhaka today. Electing to bat after winning the toss, Sri Lanka scored 296 for 6 in the stipulated 50 overs. India will begin their campaign in the tournament under the captaincy of Virat Kohali tomorrow when they take on hosts Bangladesh. The match will start at 1.30 p.m.
