Sri Lanka secure lead of 165 runs in Ahmedabad test

In the Ahmedabad test, a marathon double hundred by Mahela Jayawardane helped Sri Lanka secure a formidable lead of 165 runs, in their first innings against India. The Islanders will resume their innings on the fourth day today with an overnight score of 591 for five. Mahela Jayawardena with 204 runs and Prasanna Jayawardane with 84, are at the crease. For India, Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma took two wickets each and Harbhajan Singh took one. The Scores so far: India: 426 Sri Lanka: 591 for five.
