India won their first match against Afghanistan. A victory against Nepal will ensure a semi-final berth for the former Champions. In another match of Group A, defending Champions Maldives will play against Afghanistan in a do-or die encounter. Having drawn their match against Nepal, Maldives need to win the match to keep their hopes alive for a semi -final berth.
