In Sri Lanka, Private Bus Owners Association and lawyers of Tamil-dominated Northern Province are on strike today to protest the shooting at the security officers of a Jaffna High Court Judge.<br/> <br/>The Associations condemning the Saturday attack which killed a policeman and injured another, said the main suspect has not been arrested yet and demanded their immediate arrest. A Police Spokesman said, according to the initial investigation, the shooting was unexpected incident but not a pre-planned attack.<br/> <br/>President Maithripala Sirisena has condemned the incident and instructed police chief to establish a special program to protect all Judicial Officials after the shooting. The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) in a statement expressed grave concern that the incidents of crime in the Jaffna Peninsula have reached serious levels.
