<span style="color: #222222;">In Sri Lanka, Parliament Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has said the telephone recordings of a former Minister and broadcasting it in public by the media demonstrate that the country's morality is deteriorating.<br />'' <br />'' Participating in a programme, the Speaker said that although modern technology contributes to the well-being of a country, the society is seen to be moving towards deterioration due to its enslavement to technology.<br />'' <br />'' The Speaker noted that mobile phone and modern communication methods have shattered the family relationships adding the countries who imported the technology have gone into a spiritual decline more than the countries that produced the technology.
