Sri Lanka Navy has arrested 17 Indian fishermen alongwith three boats on charges of poaching into Sri Lankan waters. A press statement issued this evening said, the arrests were made in two separate incidents yesterday in the sea area off the Delft Island.<br />''<br />''<br />''Subsequently, the arrested fishermen and their boats have been brought to the naval establishment SLNS Elara in Karainagar. The country has introduced a new law to impose fine for release of boats taken into custody. </span><br />
