<span style="color: #222222;">In Sri Lanka, a mass grave containing skeletal remains of more than 150 individuals have been found so far in Mannar district of Northern Province.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The excavations of the site began in June after some skeletal remains were found while digging the foundation for a building.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Professor R. Somadeva, a forensic expert involved in the excavation said that only one-third of the area has been dug so far and more skeletons are expected as the process continues.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The bodies are suspected to be dumped during the three-decade-long LTTE war though the exact period cannot be ascertained without forensic examination.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Somadeva said, the samples of skeletons will be sent to lab in Florida, USA for its scientific dating.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The skeletons are being kept under the judicial custody of Mannar court. Sri Lanka has already a few mass graves discovered in war-affected areas of north and east in the past.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
