In Sri Lanka, a local court has ordered the Army to submit a list of the LTTE cadres who surrendered during the final stages of the three decades long war which ended in 2009. <br/><br/>The Mullaitivu District Magistrate ordered the Army to submit the list by January 30 to the court. The order came in a case alleging that some LTTE cadres who had surrendered to the Army had gone missing. <br/><br/>Hundreds of Tamil minorities including LTTE cadres are reportedly missing during the war period. Sri Lankan government has brought legislation to set up office of missing persons to probe such cases but the office is yet to be set up.
