Sri Lanka: Indians companies come forward to ensure supplies during lockdown

There are a few dozen Indian tourists stranded in Colombo and they have been provided with lodging and boarding at cheap rates. Indian government also supplies 10 tons of medicine to Sri Lanka on Tuesday as assistance to fight  COVID crisis.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Sri lanka recorded only two positive cases of COVID during the last 24 hours as there are 139 active cases with seven deaths reported so far. The country is under curfew for past three weeks leading to complete shutdown of tourism and industries, which are backbone of Sri Lankan economy.</span><br />
