The President's resignation is expected to pave way for the establishment of an interim all-party government to resolve the current economic crisis. The 'GoHomeGota' protest campaign which is underway for the 95th consecutive day, has been calling for the resignation of the President, Prime Minister, and the government, as well as the appointment of an interim all-party government, among other key demands.</span><br />
