<span style="color: #222222;">In Sri Lanka, Colombo high court will hear today a revision application filed by the Attorney General against bail to former defence secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundera.<br />''<br />'' The AG has charged both officials with murder, along with several other charges for negligence in the Easter Sunday attacks which killed more than 260 people.<br />''<br />'' Colombo's chief magistrate had granted bail to the two officials disputing whether they could be charged with murder. The AG has challenged the order and wants bail revoked and the officials re-arrested.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the police informed the Colombo magistrate that they have concluded their questioning of former defence secretary and will record a final statement from police chief shortly.<br />''<br />'' The former was removed from his post after the attacks while the latter was sent on compulsory leave. Mr. Jayasundara has filed a fundamental rights petition in Supreme court challenging the government decision. </span><br />
