Sri Lanka has clinched the cricket tri-series title beating India by 74 runs in the final at Dambulla last night. Chasing a victory target of 300 runs, India were all out for 225 in 46.5 overs. Tilakaratne Dilshan struck a blistering century as the hosts amassed an imposing 299 for eight in their stipulated 50 overs. Captain Kumar Sangakara 71 and Mahela Jayawardene 39 were the other notable scorers for Sri Lanka. For India, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 67 runs.
