<span style="color: #222222;">In Sri Lanka, at least 8 persons have died and more than 21 thousand  affected due to adverse weather conditions prevailing for last two days. The Disaster Management Center (DMC) said 11 persons are missing while 466 families have been displaced as torrential rains lashed the country since Saturday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">DMC has also issued landslide warnings and red for evacuations in several vulnerable areas. It has requested the people living near some of the rivers to be to the rising water levels. According to DMC report, 1295 houses have been partially damaged and 13 houses  fully damaged.</span><br />
