<span style="color: #222222;">Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has assured foreign envoys that security has been strengthened in the country and urged to remove travel restrictions imposed after the Easter Sunday attacks.<br />'' <br />'' In a special discussion with ambassadors and high commissioners accredited to Sri Lanka last evening, Mr. Wickremsinghe pointed out that daily life has returned to normal and the maximum security measures are in place.<br />'' <br />'' He urged the ambassadors and the High Commissioners to take steps in this backdrop to remove the travel restrictions imposed on Sri Lanka. His comments came as tourism has taken a major hit since the attacks which killed 258 people including 47 foreign nationals.<br />'' <br />'' During the meeting, the security forces presented the status of the current state of security and the progress of the investigations on the attacks. The security forces emphasized that the law will be strictly enforced on those who were trying to cause communal clashes on the pretext of the attacks. Meanwhile, police has said  134 million rupees in 41 bank accounts belonging to the suspects, currently, in custody over their alleged links to terrorist attacks, have been suspended.<br />'' <br />'' Police Media Spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara also stated that other assets worth over 7.1 billion rupees owned by them were also identified and that measures were being taken to confiscate them.</span>
