Squally winds & rains observed in Port Blair; fishermen advised not to venture into sea

<span style="color: #222222;">In Port Blair, squally winds and rains were observed this morning. The Met Department and the Directorate of Disaster Management have issued an advisory regarding the formation of a low pressure area in the Central part of South Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. It is likely to move in a westward direction.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea from today onwards. The Indian Coast Guard vessels on deployment are sensitizing fishermen at sea and guiding them to return back to harbor. ICG also directed all its centers and ships in Andaman Nicobar Islands to be to meet any contingency. Weather warning predicted heavy rain with thunder squall at one or two places in Andaman Nicobar region for the next two days.</span><br />''  <br />
