The Director of Health Services Dr. Ajay Chakraborty told AIR today that around, 2 thousand people have been affected by the disease in the state so far. He said that 5 persons died of Dengue till date. <br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Health Department has taken special steps to check the spread of disease particularly at Habra, Gobordanga in North 24 Paraganas District. A team of senior officials of Health Department recently visited Dengue affected areas and met the patients being tested in hospitals at North 24 Paraganas District to take stock of the situation. </span><br />
