The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has sanctioned six crore rupees each to Rajasthan and Chattisgarh for construction of multi-purpose indoor Halls. An official release says, total assistance sanctioned to both the states under Urban Sports Infrastructure Scheme (USIS), the ministry has released 1.80 crore rupees each. The rest of the assistance will be released in two installments after receipt of utility certificate and settlement of accounts.
