Sports Ministry has convened a meeting of major Public Sector Undertakings, PSUs, and Public Sector Banks in New Delhi today to discuss ways and chalk out strategies to promote Sports in the country. Sports Minister Vijay Goel will chair the meeting. An official release said, this is for the first time that such a meeting has been convened by the ministry to make concerted efforts to bring all stakeholders on one platform for the promotion of sports. The meeting is expected to take stock of the current contribution of PSUs and Public Sector Banks for promotion of Sports and their future plans in this direction.
