The Sports Ministry has approved the foreign training of nine athletes along with their coaches under the National Sports Development Fund Scheme. These Athletes have either qualified for the upcoming London Olympics or are likely to qualify. An official release says, the training will be conducted in six countries including USA, Hungary, Germany, Kenya and South Africa. The prominent athletes are Vikas Gowda, Om Prakash Singh, Krishna Poonia, Kavita Raut and Harvant Kaur.
