Sports Minister Vijay Goel will inaugurate the 'Khelo India' National level Competitions in New Delhi today. <br/><br/>Mr Goel said in a statement that the intention behind these competitions is to provide a platform to the budding talents to compete at national level. He said, talent identification will also be done in the process for grooming them to achieve excellence at international level. <br/><br/>The Minister said, the Scheme will prove a game changer as it will not only help create sports infrastructure, but will also attract budding talent to prove their mettle.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports, more than 25 states and Union territories are expected to participate in the seven day Sports Competitions. Approximately one thousand participants are expected to participate in three sports Swimming, Cycling and Wrestling. Entry for spectators to watch the events is free at all venues. <br/>
