Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today congratulated the Indian visually impaired cricket team for winning the World Cup for Blind at Cape Town. The Minister said in a press statement that India's maiden triumph in the Blind Cricket World Cup shows that these players are not only talented but have the ability to be the best in the world. The Minister also said that the members of the World Cup winning team will be felicitated when they are back. Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has also congratulated the Indian visually impaired cricket team for winning the World Cup for Blind by defeating arch-rivals Pakistan. In reply to Pakistan's 389 in their allotted 40 overs, India reached 392 with two balls to spare in the final of the Cricket World Cup for blind in Cape Town yesterday.
