Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju today met with the shooters who participated in the recently-held ISSF Shooting World Cup in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. India topped the medal tally bagging 9 medals, including five golds in the event.

India shooters also claimed remaining Olympic quota available in the shooting event. Talking to newsmen in New Delhi, the Minister said, number of medals and the honour they have brought for the country, is commendable.

He said, for Tokyo Olympics, India will send highest numbers of athletes so far for shooting event. Some of the gold medalists shared their experience and preparedness for upcoming Olympics with our Correspondent.
