Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju met the President of Inter Parliamentary Union, Duarte Pacheco in New Delhi today and proposed World Youth Parliament to promote fitness activities.

He also discussed about corporation among the international parliamentarians in the field of Youth Affairs and Sports. Mr Rijiju said they discussed about India's Fit India Movement, Yoga and how India has been able to start certain sports-related activities in the country in a controlled manner despite COVID 19.
