Sports minister Kiren Rijiju today lavished rich praise on Yuvraj Singh, saying the just-retired India all-rounder will forever remain a cricketing icon. 

In a tweet, Mr Rijiju said that Yuvraj Singh may have retired from the competitive cricket game but he will remain a cricketing icon for every Indian and millions across the globe. 

The Sports minister extended his best wishes for Yuvraj's future endeavours.
