Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. M.S. Gill, today presented, a demand draft of 3 lakh rupees to Sulinder Kaur , widow of late Makkhan Singh, Arjuna Awardee in Delhi. The amount has been approved by the Sports Minister as lump sum assistance from the National Welfare fund for the Sportspersons. This aid was given after the Ministry came to know about the family that is living in a miserable condition.
