Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur today said, India is monitoring the situation in China arising out of COVID in view of upcoming Asian Games. Replying to a media query in New Delhi on the postponement of Asian Games, Mr Thakur said, it depends on the preparations of the host country.

He inaugurated the '2nd Khelo Masters Games Delhi-2022' at Tyagraj Stadium in New Delhi. The Minister said that schemes like Khelo India are furthering sports in remote corners of the country.
