Sports Minister Vijay Goel today inaugurated Mega LED screen at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium, New Delhi for free public viewing of ICC Champions Trophy matches. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Goel said, this has been done to utilize the free space in the stadium. He said his Ministry is considering to install such mega screens on permanent basis. The Minister further stated that idea is to initiate sports culture among the public and optimum utilization of the stadia. He said, in future, his ministry will have mini-fests too that would create a huge buzz for sporting events across India.In ICC Champions Trophy, India will take on Bangladesh in the second semi-final tomorrow. Final match will be held on Sunday.
