In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists barged into the house of Special Police Officer (SPO) of J&K Police, Fayaz Ahmad late last night at around 11 PM at village Hariparigam Tral of Awantipora area in south Kashmir's Pulwama district and fired indiscriminately on the family.<br />'' <br />''In the terror incident, SPO, his wife and daughter received critical gunshot injuries.<br />'' <br />''The police confirmed that SPO Fayaz Ahmad attained martyrdom while his wife and daughter also succumbed to their grievous injuries in the hospital.<br />''<br />''Security forces have already cordoned off the whole area and launched a massive manhunt to nab the assailants.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack on SPO Fayaz Ahmad and his family.
