In Jammu and Kashmir, unidentified militants shot dead a special police officer in Srinagar last evening.<br/>According to Police, the militants fired a volley of shots at the officer outside his house in Jawahar Nagar area. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. No militant outfit has so far owned responsibility for the attack.
