Spl Court rejects CBI's plea for five-day custody of Amit Shah

In Gujarat, a special court has rejected the CBI's plea for five-day custody of Amit Shah. The court had reserved its order on Monday on the plea as the CBI had sought Shah's remand after it failed to extract information in its three-day questioning in judicial custody. Amit Shah- former Minister of State for Home is in Sabarmati Jail under judicial custody after arrested by CBI in connection with Sohrabuddin Shaikh fake encounter case. CBI's counsel claimed that the agency has to recover important documents related to the case from Shah. The judgment on the bail plea of Amit shah is to be announced by the court on 11th August.
