In Uttar Pradesh, a special CBI court at Ghaziabad has extended the judicial custody of 17 accused arrested in connection with the multi-crore National Rural Health Mission, NRHM scam in the state. Our correspondent reports that Special CBI Judge A K Singh has sent to jail all the accused including former BSP government Minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, former BSP MLA Ram Prasad Jaiswal, senior IAS officer Pradeep Shukla and 14 others till June 28. Kushwaha and Jaiswal were arrested on March 3.
