<span style="color: #222222;">The special train services of the Nilgiris Mountain Railway (NMR) have been extended to June 10th. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Southern Railway has announced that the extension has been announced in view of the excellent patronage that the service has been receiving.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The special services are being run between Coonoor and the quaint village of Runnymede. Arrangements have also been made for train passengers to enjoy a walking tour of the rural surroundings in and around Runnymede including tribal villages, waterfalls etc.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The original NMR runs from Mettupalayam, on the plains skirting the Western Ghats, and connects with Ooty, now known as Udhagamandalam, the Queen of the Western Ghats. </span><br />''
