Special train from Jharkhand brings 1,648 migrant labourers to Udhampur in J&K

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, a special train from Jharkhand brought 1,648 migrant labourers to Udhampur today.<br />'' <br />'' These workers will be deployed in prestigious BRO projects Vijayak and Himank being taken up in Leh – Ladakh and other regions along the India-China border.<br />'' <br />'' After proper screening these labourers were despatched from Udhampur railway station to Ladakh valley by road.<br />'' <br />'' More trains are scheduled to leave Dumka and adjoining areas of Jharkhand after the completion of the workers' registration process.<br />'' <br />'' At least 11,000 workers from Jharkhand would be engaged for BRO works in Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Four more such trains are scheduled on June 16, 20, 24 and 28 and July 5 from Jharkhand to Udhampur.</span>
