Special session of Tamilnadu State Assembly convened today to reconsider ten Bills sent back by State Governor R.N.Ravi

The special session of the Tamilnadu State Assembly was convened on Saturday to reconsider ten Bills sent back by State Governor R.N. Ravi. The Bills were introduced by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin and members discussed and agreed to pass the Bills. But the Opposition Party AIADMK and BJP walked out of the Assembly objecting to discussing certain Bills during the discussion. Earlier, the State government had approached the Supreme Court to know of the status of the Bills which were sent for the Governor's consent during October.<br />''<br />''The Apex Court had termed it as a matter of serious concern and sought the Centre's response. It is to be noted that the Governor's office sent back the Bills to the State Government for reconsideration were introduced by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin were passed by the Assembly unanimously later. Earlier, tributes and condolences were paid to the late former member of the Assembly and Communist party leader Sankaraiah and spiritual leader Bangaru Adigalar.<br />
