A special session of the Maharashtra Assembly on Maratha Reservation began in Mumbai with the opening remarks of Governor Ramesh Bais today.<br />''<br />''The Governor said, that when the country aims for a five trillion economy in the next five years, an advanced state like Maharashtra has supported the Prime Minister's vision, the state should set a target to achieve a trillion economy in the next five years.<br />''<br />''Ramesh Bais highlighted recent MoUs worth over 3,50,000 crore rupees by the Maharashtra government at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He said due to this, two lakh services will be generated. Mr Bais, to support and empower the export policy of India, his government has announced the Maharashtra Export Promotion Scheme which will generate one lakh employment.<br />''<br />''Emphasizing the need for maximum use of solar energy, he said his government has introduced Solar panels for industry, commercial, and residential&nbsp;areas and has announced a Green Hydrogen Manufacturing scheme for the period of 2023-2028 for clean energy. The Governor said, it will generate five lakh employments in the next five years.<br />''<br />''Explaining the government's stand on Maratha Reservation, he said the major survey has been conducted all over Maharashtra, and Maratha- kunbi, Kunbi Maratha certificates were issued. He said the government is working on this issue and will give fair, final, and within a framework decision to the Maratha community.&nbsp;<br />
