<span style="color: #222222;">A day-long Special Session of the Gujarat Assembly concluded today with a passage of the motion supporting the 126th Constitution Amendment Bill for extending the tenure of ST/ST reservation for another 10 years and the one supporting the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The motion supporting CAA was passed in the house amid chaos and protest by the Congress party. A motion supporting CAA and congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for it was moved by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in the house. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Members of Opposition parties started protest with heated arguments. The proceeding of the house was also adjourned for some time. However, the motion was passed with a majority. The first motion about extending SC/ST reservation in Lok Sabha and State Assembly was passed unanimously.</span><br />
